I was a form two student at Aquinas High…On that day we were given off juu kulikuwa na Music festival…Nikiwa home ndio nilisikia the explosion…later on I realized one of my good friend (Jamo) mum was trapped in the buildin…Sijui James alienda wapi.its was sad.

The music festival was in KICC I was there, we were the next act on stage, then I heard a huge explosion kama ya burst tire but was so pronounced, we were later ushered to the comesa grounds, and ndipo tuliona a huge dust storm

School holidays. Scary day. Then the fear followed by anger.

The anger against the islamists died down a while later. Mats even had Osama’s poster. Many ghetto guys were nicknamed Osama. And dogs too

Nilikuwa class 4. We were playing soccer at the football ground, waiting for the school closing ceremony at noon when the ground shook, throwing us a few millimeters in the air, followed by a cloud of black smoke in the sky. We continued playing soccer after a brief pause, not understanding how serious the situation was until I arrived home to see the breaking news all over the TV and radio stations. That was the time of year I contemplated dropping out of school due to severe corporal punishment.

…siku tulitiga chuo. Hii day kama kawaida tulipanga kuenda fishing. Tukashikana group ya maboys nine ama ten ivi. Tulikuwa class six. Moja kwa Moja kama tlna uniform zetu hadi karura forest na huko ndani kama tumejihami na manduano na minyongororo (earthworms kwa kasuku). Tukafika fiti na katika harakati za fishing hapa na pale ndio tukaskia mlipuko…tukaanza kuhepa .na hivo ndio tulirudi Hadi mtaani.

Huruma karibu na drago, nilikuwa na beste pia sides za north. A good friend of mine walitoka hapo sides za kolpin hostels. Dufo mpararo ilikuwa lazima kwa tukitinga chuo. Tulifika bruwa, kitah, karura forest na kadhalika, unajuwa tu hio genge kwanza tukitoka game pale bene (opposite KCA university) ama tukitoka depo.

Niligrow North area 2 and 3, Nilicheza MYSA youth league hapo bene before relocating to huruma grounds. Mechi za Kasa tulikuwa tunakanyaga route 11 through babadogo then tuna-sneak through the fence wakati security wamezubaa. I learnt a bit of boxing and taekwon-do hapo area 3 social hall.

Hehe, primo ulikuwa north ama drive-in. Naona hizo area unazijua fiti. Hizo sides nilikuwa na mabeste kadha juu ya futa. Kuna jeshi ya metro kina yeye, late raich and others. Social hall nilikuwa nafika kuona wasee Wana act kina x-mad.
