Tukafika fiti na katika harakati za fishing hapa na pale ndio tukaskia mlipuko…tukaanza kuhepa .na hivo ndio tulirudi Hadi mtaani.

Stopped in Kibwezi for a break at 1pm when the driver announces to us passengers that “belly bottom” (Co-op bank tower) has been bombed. He ups the volume of the car’s radio (wakati huo ilikuwa AM, aka Mid Wave) and we listen in shock as the news is broadcast.
2nd year student at UoN, out of session at the time. My uncle had sent me to purchase a KBS ticket to Western for him (at bus station). I heard the blast since I was at bus station. Then ma KBS zikaanza kufika BS with crew bleeding…
I was about to finish my primary school education…sijui kama tulikuwa holiday tuition ama tulikuwa karibu kufunga all i remember ni tulikuwa playground…believe it or not we heard the earth shake all the way in Donholm primary school…kufika home lunchtime ndio tuliskia mambo ya bomblast…scary times what with my mother working at Barclay’s plaza… Fuck those al kebabs… May the many souls lost continue resting in peace
August holidays nikiwa Class 4 we were to close school on that day but tufunga earlier by 5 days.

I was a form two student at Aquinas High…On that day we were given off juu kulikuwa na Music festival…Nikiwa home ndio nilisikia the explosion…later on I realized one of my good friend (Jamo) mum was trapped in the buildin…Sijui James alienda wapi.its was sad.
