Hii ndio siku tulitiga chuo. Hii day kama kawaida tulipanga kuenda fishing. Tukashikana group ya maboys nine ama ten ivi. Tulikuwa class six. High school. Traveling for school holidays, along Nbi-Msa highway. Stopped in Kibwezi for a break at 1pm when the driver announces to us passengers that “belly bottom” (Co-op bank tower) has been bombed. He ups the volume of the car’s radio (wakati huo ilikuwa AM, aka Mid Wave) and we listen in shock as the news is broadcast.

I was a form two student at Aquinas High…On that day we were given off juu kulikuwa na Music festival…Nikiwa home ndio nilisikia the explosion…later on I realized one of my good friend (Jamo) mum was trapped in the buildin…Sijui James alienda wapi.its was sad.
