Let me enlighten you kidogo, in the part of the states where I am, tukisikia mtu ameshikwa tunamfanyia harambee na kumtafutia wakili regardless of ethnicity. However if you’ve not participated in community events, you may have a hard time getting people to contribute to your cause. :(
I always tell immigrants to get into a kenyan community, church embassy or consulate, show up once in a while , contribute and get to know a few people, you never know when you will need them.:)
