You can choose to have it shipped via air 14 days at usd10/kg OR via sea 1cbm/60k. Hizo costs ni inclusive of taxes.
I would prefer to ship Dubai then kenya
I have never shipped anything from China.
Si jui Nani mpoa kwa hizo sites
In taxation this does not matter really… CIF includes shipping and insurance, FOB is the price you pay for the item itself before any additional expenses are added. Both will incur taxes at the port of entry… But cargo consolidators lump up these taxes and shipping costs and charge you per kilo or volume on top of the purchase price… there is a legal question on the tax compliance of cargo consolidators since they normally do not have the taxes computed on value as is legally required by customs authorities… that is why you do not provide your KRA PIN to the cargo consolidators and also do not have proper Bill of Lading IDF declaration per customer… May be somebody can clarify… If you are using cargo consolidators for items on resale, especially electronics whose unique serial numbers would be required for clearing on a normal IDF, you will always get harassed in your shop by KRA officers who pay visit and ask for IDF showing serial numbers of the items in your shop… you are forced to bribe them to survive…
Just to grasp the CBM size in retrospect,a sizeable saloon car, what is its CBM? or better yet what can you fit in say,4cbm?
CBM stands for cubic meter. That’s volume which is equals to L×W×H. In this case 1 CBM is 1M³.
Alot can fit. Tafuta a box kwa supermarket then take measurements using a tape measure. Then try and arrange items inside the box you see how many pieces can fit in a 1m×1m×1m box
The chinese company waliniambia iyo ni FOB kwa hivyo I have to take care of the taxes kwa landing port…kama AMD Rayzen 5 2018 nililipishwa tax wazimu!, hii kitu ndio wataachilia?
Gari si unalipa tax pia?
kizungu mingi…

Hehehe all machines come in a box. Sio ile unafikiria ya paper. Hata machine iwe kubwa aje. Kuna wooden boxes kama hii below za shipping. For protection against damage during transit.
Hio ndio huwa inapimwa dimensions then converted to CBM(cubic meters)

Ask the company how much they will charge you to ship your item to Guangzhou. From there you will be It at former KBS garage Eastleigh
Hata gari hulipishwa na ile space ime occupy kwa meli. Then taxes come in after its offloaded
Acha upusu…iyo stone crusher inatoshana na gari…ile ndogo yake ya kutoka china inakuja na miguu zake za nyuma kama mkomoteni!
Kama unawork customs ni sawa utaniingizia nikuone za macho!

But if you do this, won’t the items be subject to taxation in Dubai?
Hata kama inatoshana na gari bado inaeza fit kwa container na hesabu itakuwa still per CBM/60k

I recently bought a graphics tablet at Amazon for $130. They charged shipping $25 and KRA tax deposit $25. It was still way cheaper than local shops or Jumia. AliExpress cost was $180 with courier, taxes unajisort.
