Nimekaa around some experienced Doctors, and if you have ever noticed 99% of the advice za walking comes from Doctors, they’d rarely tell you to hit the gym or go for runs. Cause they are inherently trained to treat symptoms.
So daktari will always advice you on the bare minimum to stay “normal” not necessarily healthy. Also itakuwa upuzi and waste of time for a Doctor to start a whole diagnosis of your whole poor lifestyle choices.
Mimi I did hizo walking, nikaanza kupiga runs za intensity na distance, siwezi rudi nyuma tena, it’s a world’s difference feeling psychologically pia. Takes effort but worth it mara kumi.
Mimi siku hizi nikienda any hosi check up, wao hupima bpm yangu Doc anashangaa, hadi mwingine ananiuliza if I’m an athlete.
Kitambo nilikuwa nahangaika na depression, ma random illnesses, fainting, mostly due to sedentary lifestyle excessively , but saa hii niko sharp vibaya sana.
Walking is good,It helps your weight well.Bora unachapa 20000 steps. It will trim you down combine with weight training and the body will look good.Mimi watu waaamini I am in my mid 30s
Am like you too bro…started watching my health manze. Esp after i realized hosi nowdays ziko bizna. So the best thing is to watch your heath to reduce visiting them. Mathe ni mzee kiasi and each time she visits a hospital anarudi na ngunia mbili ya different meds. Nowdays Docs are using guess work to treat you.
Me too…am almost 40yrs old but each time i meet a GenZ i lie to them that i just turned 30 and they fall for that shit… .chenye huniuza ni lingo when conversing wako zile za you must be old.. then i come clean (after fucking them 1000 times) wanashangaa sana that am that old but wanasema they would not mind going in public with me coz i dont look that old. Also am athletic in body size. Ill be 40 in a year or two
Ukifikisha miaka 30, usikae kimalamala, piga tizi , eat good. Diabetes, stroke, BP etc hunyemelea Sana. Vile wamesema halo juu hakuna haha ya gym, just walk 3-5K (nunua Chinese smart bandeg Huawei)steps a day you will be alright.
At mid 30s kuna time i had gained weight…i looked better but my BP was elevated and my sugar was elevated too. I found out during a routine hospital visit where they check for all that shit. I turned around on my diet…i cut down on carbs and sugarly drinks ( hadi chai i drink sugarless). Then embarked on working out regularly…all my BP and Sugars came down to normal. Its good i caught them early…i always imagine that there are alot of people who are sick unknowingly…by the time they find out wako late stages
I went on an extended videogame break for 4 years, cold turkey. I’m glad I did,l coz nowadays when I look at my peers (mid 30’s) I can tell which one of us will live longer.. (assuming nobody is hit by a truck i.e.).
I have never been a gamer in my life. Hata zile games za phone have never had them…i tried brick game na bado nikachoka nayo…and i can afford the latest game if i want. Maybe when my sons grow up some more ntawanunulia a console
Alafu whats wrong with our parents nowadays? People in their 50s and above are having some funny diseases and illnesses. Grandparents nao na miaka yao advanced rarely get sick and most are actually in good health and can do even some heavy work.
