I’m sick of seing poor african children dancing, or any africans dancing while they live in poverty. This is why no one respects africans because all you know how to do is dance and behave like clowns while you are living in poverty. And you see some people write stupid stuff like ‘‘happyness knows no poverty’’ while the african children are dancing infront of a mudhut. Stop dancing and start taking yourselves seriously by going to school and build your countries. Its this reason why people think africans are children in grown bodies (low IQ). What is worse is when you have jungus go to african schools and the teachers stop the classes so the children can dance for the jungus. Have some respect for yourselves as a people.
Even in Europe I was in a beach with some african friends and they brought up the stereo and put on loud african music and start dancing like clowns infront of all jungus whom just watched. Its a fuckin low IQ action and an embarassment and you portray yourselves as nothing more than entertainers. I refused to Dance with them and wanted to go home. You will never see me dancing infront of none africans, never. Take yourself seriously.
i agree with you on condition the context is as you imagined.
dancing has been an african thing ever since, even Ngugi wa Thiongo passionately writes about traditional night dances in his books but wazungus brainwashed africans its evil, savage, stupid and God will burn dancing africans in very hot fire.
living in a hut is not a problem as long as its your choice, dancing too,we live as we want in this africa of ours, wazungu supremacy is their own imagined problem.if you spend time on youtube, you will start to notice two people can tell the same story in different ways,so its not an african problem but whoever recorded and their intention
in the african context, poverty is not as whites view it:because we have people living in the villages, own land, live in huts and they get all their needs from the farm.now, they will be poor if you throw in whites ways like own a car, insurance, social security etc
They are children they cant fix the economy that is the job of their parents. They are in fact doing better than their parents by empowering themselves through dance. Grown up Africans hate to see children happy in the present and in the future nowonder they steal everything vote known thieve
@mbakuthesupreme why are you bitter? Nani amekukataza kudance?
Just because people are poor they shouldn’t dance?
How about wale wamepata better life juu ya dancing? Sarakasi, FBI, S4C…how wote ni dancing imewaokolea.
Besides, people go to the beach to have a good time. If dancing on the beach is their good time, so be it.
Poverty! Poverty! Poverty! Kelele mingi bure.
And since you do not understand the therapeutic value and benefit of dancing to your mental health, hata kusaidika kuwezi.
FYI: that video has been out there for at least 3 years. Leo ndio umiona?
Sometimes we see/ create problems where there is none. Nothing wrong with children dancing and expressing themselves just like those rich kids can go to ballet and dance school. Dancing iko kwa blood yetu , we can move effortlessly and we are good at it. I agree though that dancing for wazungus (those nightly dances in hotels) is really demeaning.
usiwadharau because they are poor let kids be kids , besides most of them are now out of poverty and have made enough money to live in mansions, talent pays hence your point is moot
Stop writing nonsense… Who would prefer to live in huts if they had the options to live in a mansion with a comfy bed? Africans live in hut because they are poor, there are no rich or wel of africans living in huts.
Dont write nonsense… They should be in school and learning how to come out of poverty instead of dancing. Again, it just stereotypes africans as clowns whom all they know how to do is dance and pray.
The video is just an example… And dont talk about therapeutic value while you are living in poverty… Africa has one of the lowest happy index in the world because of poverty. Stop dancing and go to school to learn how to defeat poverty.
No, you intepreted it wrong, i’m not blaming the children but the grown ups ofcourse. This is the culture that africans have embraced, the culture of dancing instead of education unlike the asians. Its sad. This is why you have teachers stoping class when a jungu visit so the children can start dancing for the jungus. We dont respect ourselves.
Is dancing restricted to certain class of people? Just because your western brain washed brain cant make you associate with happy poor kids, remember 40m of US citizens are poor and a good portion of them do shameful stuff.
Dancing and education are not related. the only reason why education is poor in Africa is the insecurity of the educated Africans. they are afraid of competition so they want very few graduates. Graduates demand jobs and changes
