Assisted living, great idea. Solid idea. And they work 99% of the time. We are not used to it because our governments did not create structures to support such. We are still in mental infancy in creating working institutions.
And it’s a necessity in first world countries anyway. In Kenya we have mboches. You can’t afford a full time mboch in such countries. Employment laws make it impossible except for the rich. So even in Africa all someone does is rushia his aging parent to a mboch. But in reality you are in better hands in a assisted living facility because they also provide medical care from licensed professionals.
In addition to having activities (social interactions) for them amongst themselves. This keeps them engaged.
