It may sound stupid but the interests of the bank supersede those of the buyers. The loan used in the project has been defaulted and the bank deserves its money back.

These kind of stories piss me off. When all’s said and done, it’s the government’s fault. You can do all the due diligence in the world but if a con man is determined they’ll still steal your hard earned money. When you see known thieves such as Gakuyo and that Banda Homes director launching “new projects” without setting foot in court for their past crimes, you realize just how rotten this country is. Why can’t our stupid policy makers understand that we lose more as a country when we allow such cons to keep shitting on genuine investors? How many people hesitate to invest in the country after coming across such stories? Smh.
This is why you need a lawyer when doing such transactions… The mother title should be tied to the sale agreements… otherwise Ruuuun.
