who was right?

Today coming from amboseli to town in a matatu there was this lady with a baby who kept crying throughout the journey calling out the name of her father and mom ,also when asked if the kid was sick she said no,she also seemed nit perturbed by the kids cries though it was very loud and in a way as if she needed help(i dont know how i knew this)she didn’t want to breastfeed the baby also which made us feel like the baby could have been stolen or somethibg worse…all passengers (including me) started complaining and we had to drop her at kilimani police station(not sure if the police station at hurligam is kilimani)…now there were a guy and a lady who were seated near the lady and they were the only people supporting the lady…was it justifiable to call the police and which side was right?(if you were in the matatu i am the guy who was collecting fare).

I don’t think the passengers were being malicious. There has been plenty of baby snatcher incidents in the news lately

Makanga maliza hekaya.Ilpatikana kama aliiba mtoto au la?

Mbona hukupeana pia hao wengine wenye walikuwa wanamsupport?

You were right. Better to have done that and be wrong than to do nothing and the baby is stolen. If that’s the real mom, she might be pissed off at first, but am sure she will appreciate the reason behind after some reflection

So did you call the police on her or not?

yeah, police was called and they took all of us to kilimani

i was but being sarcastic

The Matatu people had a Solomonic moment and they passed the test with flying colours, whatever that means

Then what happened?Wacha kutupatia hekaya kidogo kidogo kama dawa ama tu abandon thread.

I just left i was in a hurry i did not follow up nikajua what transpired,my story up there was just to know if we abiria were right to complain because the lady even complained ni tabia ya ‘kenyans’ to ingilia mambo hayawahusu.

Okay.
