Sme yrs ago as we were clearing college one of my gals (Rael)met this guy at a party ,who had jst resettled frm US in his early 30’s (we’ll call him X).They hit it off immedeately bt due to his famous “from uteto” state then n she being a fresh graduate hustling for a job she couldn’t keep up with him.Bt still maintained friendship, sme months later when the partying stopped n pals from Runda were nowhere to b seen…X bcame an item with Rael, nw the cash was strained he had to relocate frm a leafy surburb to south b to one of his paro’s houses…

X could nt get employed since he doesn’t like being bossed around …so the car had to go !!
Rael is the only true friend who stuck around ,started sme projects for him , n got sme sense into him to being humble.After getting a very good job, new car, nice place …the runda pals nw came back…n he wuld rather eat veve at belle vue all night long,with his pals thn spend time with Rael.4 yrs later the rship is on n off …main issue being commitment n financial mis management.Bt my gal really loves this man…

7 yrs later Rael approaching 30, unfullfilled promises of ntakubuyia vitz yada yada …etc.Mr X family is closer to Rael thn he is…Rael couldn’t take it anymore … she left him
late last yr fr good , despite loving him. …nw he is ready for marriage big wedding n nice ring???
Bt he will take her for granted !!!
What do men wan’t??Why now???During the breakups this dude wuld wait fr hrs at Rael’s gate with goodies …bt wen back same old shiet

Nt stereotyping bt guys from diaspora have this commitment phobe, seen it with my relas who r back with money …nice houses want a partner to settle,bt can’t hold down a simple rship with a decent girl…wanataka kujifanya complicated as ferk!!!

Being a good woman in this Nairobi rarely pays off…:(
