I find it perplexing that we continue to get up daily, go to work and proceed with life as if the world isn’t collapsing before our eyes.
Wars, rumors of war, Israel in her homeland surrounded by her enemies, skyrocketing inflation, gas shortages, mass death from war and climate catastrophe.
What other signs do we need to bear witness that Jesus Christ’s return is imminent?
It’s troubling that even in these terrible times of the last days, people are unbothered, so lost in worldly affairs. The bible said end time people will be “lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5
God help us not to fulfill this scripture. And if you find yourself failing, repent and keep steadfast in the Word.
“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.” Luke 17:26–27.
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-52.
