China’s goods are dumped in Kenya at alarming levels. A wise Kenyan president would be trying to figure out how to stave off this very unfair deficit.

If Uhuru wanted to stave off the deficit there are many avenues to accomplish such an endeavour. Why not start a large scale education airlift to China for Kenyan students waende wakasome scott free through scholarships every year and they work there for three to five years PAID WORK, before coming back to Kenya?
Or tax Chinese commodities like Trump is trying to do and at the same time invest in Kenyan capacity to produce similar imported Chinese product?
We have to be in a position to protect our markets before its too late. Trump amekuta it’s a bit late but he’s trying to claw his way back with one on one negotiations and new trade deals, a policy I support fully.
