Nandis have always been wealthy, having the largest arable land per capita for centuries in the country. Lakini Tugen Moi aliwafinya sana

What of kipsigis in south rift?

I have never met a poor Kalenjin, even those who come from the villages of Nandi Hills. I am convinced every Kalenjin is a multi-millionaire. I actually think Kales are the richest tribe in Kenya per-capita.

Niko na mlima iko na confirmed fine quality Ruby stones hapa kwa valley na sipigi kelele. Ni hayo tu kwa sasa wadau.

A lot of people don’t know that agricultural commodities are traded and the market is huge. 90% of that industry is controlled by Kalejins. Every grain sold passes through some dark Kalenjin :joy:. Silent billionaires and they only befriend other Kales. Ati upate a Kalenjin with kikuyu and luo friends? Wapi? Ooliskia wapi? Even in the US, they only hang out together and make you feel like an outsider. They’ve perfected the art of in-group thinking.

I wish Kikuyus had that sort of self-preservation. Kikuyus are jealous of each other kama nonsense. Ati mkikuyu akupatie deal? Hahaha. A Kalenjin ataskumia his friend billions from sirkal to handle the expatriation of those monies in offshore accounts abroad. Look at folks like Moi, Biwott, Chesire, Kosgey etc.

The issue with kaleos is that they rarely venture out to hustle in towns like eg kikuyus, kisiis, luos, luhyas. Unless apate kazi polisi or civil servant. And even when they work in other towns their families live ushago with the men sharing accommodation in urban areas huko police lines.

Apart from maize what else do they grow? And anyway every kenyan in rural areas from migori to kwale to loitoktok, meru, nyeri, bungoma etc grows maize in his homestead. Wheat is grwon in narok and timau. Rice in mwea, ahero. So hii maneno ya eti they control grain industry is total nonsense devoid of any facts. Hata maziwa kikuyus produce more. Same with tea.

That man is very out of touch with reality. South rift ukitoka from Narok ukipanda Longisa to Bomet kuna serious poverty pale mashambani. Then you have places like Kapkatet that houses stadium yenye politics yote ya Rift Valley hufanyikia, iko very fertile, iko na District level hospital na KMTC plus satellite campuses but imekataa kugrow fpr over two decades now.
