Okuyus seem to have learnt nothing from their past errors. When these Okuyu peasants purport to side with Jagathi they are showing Mzito ruto the middle finger and by extension telling him that they approve of Jagathi’s treasonous activities.
If they had common sense, by now they’d be demonstrating in favour of Ruto. They seem not to have learnt anything from their Moi era errors. they are inciting Ruto to isolate them. Ruto will punish them in due course.

Tugeges owe lots of political debt to several tribes in kenya:
- to begin with, they still owe Ruto half of his debt. They must pay this debt come 2027 although by then, Ruto will already have divorced them.
- Tugeges also owe Kambas since kalonzo supported kibaki for 5 years and Okuyus have never reciprocated.
- And of course they owe the Luo Nation huge political debt- jaramogi made kenyatta the president and kikuyus have never repaid this debt. Raila made kibaki the president ad they have never repaid. they didnt pay anything in 2022. the miserable 13% they gave to Baba doesn’t account. Come 2032 when Ruto will support a Luo presidential candidate, tugeges should repay their debt by voting for the Luo candidate.

And by the way, for your information, kikuyus can side with any tribe and win the election. In 2022 they brought 4 million votes out of 7 million to the table. A partnership with any other tribe is a sure bet for a win. Ata sio lazima big tribes, they can side with a mijikenda candidate and still win the election
