It has and continues to be official government policy that “kalenjin lands” belong exclusively to kalenjins and everyone else is a “foreginer”
All these things you’ve said up there apply to Maasai/Kikuyu, Kamba/Meru, Luo/Luyha, Kenyan Somalis/Somalian Somalis etc etc.
Before the English came here with their fancy maps and cartography skills, all tribes in Kenya had specific zones they occupied.. and that system has been largely maintained and sustained until 1964 when a certain former carpenter decided to experiment with Rift Valley province.

That’s known as a natural boundary. I doubt Kikuyus needed the English to teach them the mechanics of a simple fence.
All tribes on the Rift valley floor are Nilotic, Kalenjins/Kipsigis in the highlands, Maasai’s/Samburus on the plains.
