But their stance as a party would have made more sense if there was consistency, to say the least. His running mate should have also skipped the DP debate citing the same reasons.
You’re quite right on that observation. Wajackoyah seems like a hardliner but Wamae is more open-minded
But the presidential and running mate debates carry different weight.
Perhaps different weights but ultimately the stance of the party ought to send a consistent message. He even talked about communicating to organizers about the issue. His point was valid; remember that other debates such as gubernatorial, combined all candidates to one debate.
