Unable to make/receive calls.

Was fiddling around with my phone and

  1. Dialled ##4636##
  2. Nikapata some tests/settings hapo.
  3. Now I CAN NOT make/receive calls, even dialling USSD codes imekataa.
  4. However I can send/receive sms, also able to send emails/whatsapp via Safaricom Data.
  5. The Safcom network icon appears but when I try calling napata Error: Mobile Network not available for voice calls.
    7.However if I put my sim card in another phone i can make/receive calls.

Phone is 20 days old, still under warranty
Phone: Motorola G5+
Carrier: Safaricom
Sim Card: These ‘new’ 4G ones.

Try to change the preferred network type to LTE/GSM/WCDMA (auto) PRL. Most voice calls on our service providers are on GSM(2g) or WCDMA(3g)

Check if your phone data setting are set to 4g only . Some phones dont support call functions when data is set to 4g only. Change to 4g auto
