Infact use of jets is now becoming less ideal due to the purchase, operational & maintenance cost. A $30m jet can be taken out of service by a $1k drone…

Ukraine would win
A nuclear strike on Ukraine wouldn’t just wipe out Kyiv, itt would probably end Russia as a global player, wreck its economy, and maybe even take down Putin’s regime. Using nukes would guarantee a devastating response, putting Russia itself at risk of annihilation. Even a hesitant U.S. administration would be forced to act, with NATO backing them up. Putin’s only sane move is to steer clear because for Russia, the price would be total disaster.
Tactical nukes on the other hand I don’t know.

You people forget one thing ..
Ukraine already has Nuclear technology , used to own Nuclear weapons and had plenty of fusible material from its Nuclear power Stations.
It also now has long range Nuclear capable missiles ( SCALP , Storm Shadow and Tomahawks ) in NATO armouries that are capable of hitting Moscow.
They can easily swap out the conventional warheads in those missiles and engineer low yield Nukes into them.
And then send a message to Putin by hitting Moscow itself with a conventional weapon.
