Its race week and the Formula 1 circus will be visiting Istanbul Park, Turkey. The Turkish GP was last held back in 2011 when Vettel was in his prime. He’s the last driver to win a race on this track and only Hamilton and Raikkonen have recorded victories in Istanbul.
Lewis Hamilton is currently on a record breaking spree and can wrap up the championship this weekend.
Istanbul park will be a challenging track and like other ‘new’ tracks added to the calendar, most drivers have not raced here before. There are plenty of blind corners but turn 8 stands out especially since current drivers are expected to be driving at full throttle with modern F1 cars.
