I know that some people dispute that Pac was a prophet, but I personally think that he had a vision. As one of his close friends once said, “Pac had a plan E vs a plan B”. A lot of his music plays into the future e.g God Bless the Dead, talking about Biggie getting shot. There are many more examples.
IMO, he was more of a visionary ‘leader’ and cared more about changing the world, more than he cared about music (money). He was very influential and very mature for his age, and this caused him a lot of enemies. He financed a lot of projects for disadvantaged minorities, but, in the end, the society failed him. I could also blame him for not picking up his real friends, but one of his weaknesses was the trust that he had for people, and not thinking that anyone would hurt him (he stated so in subsequent interviews after he was shot in NY).
As for who killed him, look up “Keefe D”. Keefe was (is) Orlando Anderson’s uncle, who snitched that Pac was shot by Orlando (a member of the Crip, who was killed soon after Pac). Pac and his crew beat up Orlando at the MGM in Vegas after the Tyson/Seldon fight. Keefe was offered a plea deal after a drug bust, and he was secretly recorded by the cops confessing to a lot of details about the Tupac shooting. I don’t think that Suge was directly involved in the shooting (though it’s common knowledge that he owed Pac a lot of money).
In his late teens and early 20s, he kind of restarted the Black Panther movement.
This is just a small part of Keefe D’s interview. There is another longer version- almost 3 hours long, as well as another video by detective Greg Kading, the guy who worked tirelessly for years to resolve Pac and Biggie’s murders.
His future was certain. So was Biggies. Both of them were marked men in my opinion. That east west beef had gone to far. Both camps had green lit each other…how much did Diddy put up for Pacs head 1.5 mill usd? These guys fate was sealed in my opinion…prophecy vision nada…Pac Biggie knew the rules of the game. Even the small scuffles and feuds were just pointers to how it was ending.
Orlando had to go…to tie up loose ends…i would rather have heard it from the horses mouth (Orlando) but for the sake of this arguement il let keefe pass.
But Pac was visionary…kweli kabisa not motivated by the cheddar, humble guy…what we used to see is just for the showbiz…he also said it himself.
And its true that Pac couldnt pick out who his true pals were…people were always coming and going he couldnt even tell who was after what…aligning with this crew next week with another…Pac was a complex character man.
