Somalis are greatly responsible for this. They buy land at exaggerated prices, then they have to build wall to wall, 15 floor apartments and charge 100k+ in rent to even stand a chance of getting their money back. The chaos from all the trucks and cranes in turn ruins the roads

Some of the best apartments in KE right now ziko Kilimani and Kileleshwa. I genuinely think hizo areas are perfect for a loaded bachelor. Excellent location and night life.
Sidhani mtu ako na family anawezana na hizo shenanigans. Family guys are better off in a nice gated estate in a maisonette/townhouse outside the city.

She is a high earner (in Kenya terms) but also a high spender. It doesn’t matter how much you earn if your lifestyle costs just as much. In 5 years mtu ana-earn 50k anainvest 25k anaishi on 25k atakuwa mbele ya huyo mumama.
You must spend less than you earn. I used to see broke lecturers and medics driving big cars and living in nice houses. Emergency ya 1M ikitokea ni harambee. Then it hits you that these guys ni kuflex tuu with empty bank accounts. No wonder banks earn billions every year juu ya kukopesha middle class when they mismanage their salaries.

I’m happy that someone else figured out this nigga. He’s forever opposed to every form of investment that’s outside his scope of imagination.
