Damn things cost 18k. At toyota kenya. Bt improve your fuel consumption a great deal. Highway 12.9 kml town driving 9.9 kml
As long as a spark plug is firing replacing it doesnt improve anything.
Enda microb along kirinyaga road usikubali kugongwa.
What was the fuel consumption before changing spark plugs
Spark plugs can’t cost that much. Somebody is taking advantage of you
Kwa dealer inaeza kuwa iyo bei
I get original Denso plugs for 2500 a pop for six…so hujagongwa sana…av seen chinese copies for 1000 but the engine does not like those at all
The only thing that cost that much ni nozzle .
Boss sijawai skia sparkplugs costing 18k hata za lexus
Nissan Teana zake ni 12000 Nissan Xtrail 14500 jaribu hizi kienyeji uchome Kila kitu. But they last a while

False… normal plug… like denso that have single point will work fine. Bt the fuel consumption it just normal. You will call a crown a guzzler. But met some guy he told me. Get a 3 point irridium spark plugs. You will be surprised how good a crown is especially extra urban. Tried it and it true. The guy has an s170 too can you believe that huge thing gives uses 8 ltrs in 100km its like 20 years old
My friend, companies like Denso are suppliers of OEM parts even to TOYOTA assembly factories.Chungulia hio engine yako hautakosa about 100 parts made by Denso and assembled straight from the factory.Mwenye alikwambia that Denso plugs are clones or second quality alikundanganya. Look for original Denso plugs na uwache kusumbua.
I havent said that they are clones. Or show me where i have said that? I know original denso plugs…
My point was the 3 point iridium spark plugs sold by toyota are by far the best and most suitable for the crown s200 Atleast in my experience
Am telling you am getting fuel economy of 12.9 on a crown and you still insisting niangalie engine
The best plug you can get for a toyota is a denso. if your car had regular single point iridium, nothing will improve unless you had one failed plug, which might be the case. denso plugs sold in other shops apart from toyota dealership are fake and a close comparison reveals so. that might have been your problem. you probably had failed or worn plugs some of which weren’t firing. The other thing is that the difference between carbon and iridium plugs is the mileage. carbons go for about 20k km while iridium go for 100k km or more. firing is the same.
When it comes to price, i think your price is fair for 8 plugs iridium assuming you run a V8. those who are saying its expensive have never bought original OEM iridium plugs.
Hakuna crown inakuwanga na V8 engine, its a V6 and for that price anagongwa whichever way you look at it.Let him go for original Denso aache kuharibu engine na non-OEM plugs.I know for a fact that Denso supplies the factory plugs and the engine is caribrated for that.
And by the way why is he complaining about fuel consumption when he has a V6 engine? He should have gone for a car with a 4 cylinder Straight engine if he wanted fuel economy.
kunayo ya V8 chief. I went by his fuel consumption. The quote for a single point denso iridium plug at toyota kenya is usually not less than Ksh. 2100
