Hi Guys
I bought this car last month. 2018 RS model. Have noticed though in as much is quite a comfortable ride i need to adjust its ground clearance upwards.
Oriel ngong road gave me a quote of 42k for coil springs which is okay but they can only adjust the ride height by 2 inches max,
so i my question is whether that will be adequate?
gari kama crown, mark-x, atenza et al have such problems, bad ground clearance. the 2inch lift is okay. ukiinua sana gari itakosa stability. use medium density springs ndo suspension ya gari isiwe stiff sana.

At the first place mbona ulinunua Toyota Crown.
Ulifanya some research about it uijue vizuri na ukaangalia hood unatoka.
Mambo ikienda vizuri nataka kununua Suzuki Every.

You bought the wrong car for your needs. Sale the car buy something thats higher.
Lifting or stiffening the suspension will not only make the car ugly bt also affect its stability

Ungenunua Majesta ya Air Suspension ndo uinue ukitaka. Kuinua gari sio advisable. Penye Toyota Engineers waliiset hawakua wajinga

Enda YouTube Uangalie venye unafaa kuruka bumps na gari iko low. Plus, 95% of bumps in Kenya, Crown haiezi struggle, if huendi off-road. Niko na GRS 200, na haijai kua shinda But, Gari ni yako, umesema.

It would help if you also learned about the pros and cons of raising a car using coil springs. Maybe first try driving a similar car that was raised using coil springs. It has implications for your suspension parts and will also affect the ride quality.

The engineers in japan put together a perfect car. Kama you want a car with more ground clearance then buy a different model. Note that interfering with suspension will invalidate your car insurance since suspension is a key stability and safety component and modifying it affects the cars stability and safety.

That insurance bit is hearsay and a tad ignorant. If it helps you sleep at night, you can always do a new valuation after the suspension is done, hell, you can declare the suspension modification while at it. In case of an accident, they will pay you every penny they owe you, less ofcourse the tax that creeped in a while back. @saccovictinm inua gari, 2 inches is probably what you can get away with, enjoy the ride.

You are limited in options. Vile umeambiwa na mechanic you can either do 2 inches max more than that stability and ride quality will be highly affected.
Mimi huhurumia watu wa Atenza sana
Toyota crown inahitaji mtu anaishi kwa lami. Hiyo gari ukiinua hukaa mbaya and ride quality inabeat.
Sio gari ya kwenda gicagi pia. Why not just buy SUV?

look for taller springs but with the same spring rates (hizo za oriel will shake your spine thru the back of your head)
Run larger profile tires (bigger sidewall)
