Jana niliingia Think Twice, and what they do is wanafungua bale ya mtumba and set a max price of an item hata ikiwa camera…say jeans camera ni 700Kshs. They’ve cracked the market ya watu wa mtaani they can get good mtumba in a decent setting better than Gikomba… Think Mr Price ya mtaa. With fitting rooms and all. Then they continue discounting the items to until 100 to 200Kshs with time. Everything is priced at 200 to go as they await to open up their next mtumba bales. The most interesting thing is they put a date outside on when the next bale opening is and people rush there like crazy. They are more affordable than all if not most thrift shops around. Attribute this to doing it a much larger scale than most thrift shops.
I’m curious though as to what they do with the items that don’t sell…
Kuna vitu haziwezi kubaliwa kwenda na bei chini ya level fulani… before they open for the day items swaffe zingine zinatolewa circulation if they didn’t go na bei ya jana kabla i.drop… maybe they are packed together and shipped to another lokeshen ijaribu tena na bei ya juu
