- It is now the most downloaded app in US
- Tik tok has a lot of personal information about US citizens including congress men that somehow may incriminate them in future
- Tik tok allows users to say what they want to say, how they wanna say it, &;direct it to who ever they want to say it & it’ll go viral
That being said, back in Kenya, we have seen the rise of social media activism majority being from youth on tik tok. Of course there are those dirty live vedios but that is all over the world. The government just wants to ban tik tok because like their counterparts in US, they fear these free mind thinkers on tik tok can spew public outrage towards the government. It’s easy for a tik tok vedio to reach 100k views because of the infinite scrolling of tik tok, unlike other apps that users click to vedios they want to watch…if it’s about dirty content, Kuna alot of apps, website with more dirty content but because serikali haitaki vedios kama zile za bunge la wananchi zifikie watu, they want to ban it
Other apps ziko na even more dirty content if you look for it, I’m a twitter head & if you follow content especially from America, lazima umepata na OF post, a simple click on the profile & you end up in a rabbit hole of thousands of OF type of content. IG the same,
