Kenya accounted for the $2.8 billion (Sh280 billion) Eurobond money in the same manner that other countries do, the International Monetary Fund said on Tuesday.

IMF first deputy managing director David Lipton said the money was moved to the Central Bank’s accounts and then put at the disposal of the government. “This is same method used by other countries that raise money in that manner,” he said.

Eleven foreign diplomats criticised calls by the opposition to occupy electoral commission offices countrywide and force its top officials to resign.

The diplomats, led by US ambassador Robert Godec, at the same time called on Kenyans and political leaders to help in ensuring that electoral and judicial institutions are strong,
effective and enjoy public confidence.

I want to state categorically that Kenya is a sovereign state. In my protest against the interference of our affairs by external countries, I have torn 11 pages of my passport that had Schengen visas and urged ule bro wangu who is pursuing a Masters of Law degree at University of Carlifornia ,Irvine, CA92697, USA (www.uci.edu ) and is already in the Dean’s list to return to Kenya and continue his degree at MKU.

I welcome your suggestions of how I should protest further.

You don’t remember Kenya borrowing locally and internationally yet again even after having eurobond monies during the aftershocks of the commodities rout,

ulisahau vile interest rates ziligonga above 20percent last year after heavy local borrowing,

The period when we faced a cash crunch in govt then Kenyans started critically asking where eurobond monies went.

No wonder they say Kenyans have short memory.
