But now you ask yourself where his money came from. Well he scammed an American investor. Investor sent him deposits of $800k (120m), according to transfer receipts. Simple scheme, he would “lend” investor 500m unsecured , if investor purchased a $1m insurance policy.
But by all accounts he spent about 25-30m for the election run. And got 512 votes. That is , only his neighbors in Homabay voted for him. If he tries again, that’s another 25m gone. Life is hard.
