The Luo of Kenya Haplogroup

According to genetic studies, the predominant Y-chromosome haplogroup of the Luo tribe in Kenya is E-M2 (E1b1a).
E-M2 (E1b1a) is a common haplogroup among Bantu-speaking peoples.
Despite being Nilotic speakers, the Luo people genetically cluster with the surrounding Bantu-speaking populations.
This suggests that a high degree of admixture, or intermarriage and cultural exchange, occurred during the southward migration of the Southern Luo, and large groups of Bantu speakers adopted the Luo language, culture, and customs.

Luo language and words are closer to bantu than nilotes. Just listen to their dialect and compare to Turkana, Maasai, Kalenjin etc. Sounds so far

The Luo of Kenya are the odd one out, as far as the Haplogroup is concerned, the Dinka, Nuer, Joka Jok have a Nilotic Haplogroup.

This means that, the Luo were Subjugated by the Bantus when they landed on the shores of Lake Victoria.

Jaruo jeuri @Maize_Combuster ni half Bantu juu his great great grandma aliuzia Wafula ndiasa in exchange for gorogoro tatu.

Zero marks. Faced with continuous pressure, some Bantu clans opted to join the winning side. Ukiuliza huko luo land, utaambiwa, such and such clan is not actually luo.

linguistically, you are close to the Dinka and the Nuer , but genetically and phenotypically you are more on the bantu side, so says the haplogroup.

No disputing that. A large number were absorbed and influences, abandoning their old culture and adopting a new one. You can find clans like Samia and Marachi which were half way through this process of assimilation.
Ukienda congo, utapata batoto baCongo speaking a luo variant but looking very Congole like this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cplaq12MxYY
