The Google Play Store allows Mpesa Payments!

The title says it all. Literally 4 hours ago.
Kenyans can finally support developers and buy some apps instead of pirating. Personally, nanunua Nova launcher-the best launcher on earth. That launcher has served me for years. I pirate each prime version because I can’t be bothered to load my Supermarket card then pay using it.

Surprisingly, Google has quietly enabled M-Pesa Xpress payments on the Google Play Store. This means that users can now purchase apps on the store and they will be charged directly to their M-Pesa. If it’s not yet obvious, the service only works on Android and it’s limited to Safaricom subscribers.

To set it up, simply open Google Play Store:

[li]Go to Account[/li][li]Select payment options[/li][li]Under this menu, you will see M-Pesa Xpress[/li][/ul]
Once you confirm you have M-Pesa Xpress payment option:

[li]Head over to an app you want to purchase[/li][li]Tap on the price tag[/li][li]Ensure that your payment method is set to M-Pesa Xpress (if you have not set up any other method of payment method, M-Pesa Xpress will be set as default payment method)[/li][li]Tap on Buy. We have a reward system alongside the punishment one. That is what will maliza me financially.

Now, finally Kenyans wanaeza ingia into the apps development business in full swing. There’s so much mullah to be made here. Yaani ideas are limitless especially mindless games.

Kuna wakati nilisema mimi hununua apps na nikaitwa Sonko. Apps are cheap like 100bob to 300. Support devs.

Also you can buy apps and use them as a family to save on costs
