This is the reason that we should avoid the various Sects , Cults and Dogma.

Yes. This is a natural result of choosing the gift of knowledge of good and evil over the gift of eternal life on earth. Man’s systems will always be flawed, but that’s what we have.

The different sects and denominations are due to various interpretations which differ slightly or majorly. It’s not something we hide or are ashamed of.

For example:

  1. Quakers (like me) have polygamy (we use the Old Testament for marriage laws), all others do not.
  2. Baptists have baptism as a critical requirement for salvation, all others do not.
  3. Anglicans insist on strict, nearly Shari’ah like interpretation of the Bible, including amputations in the old days, all others do not.
  4. Presbyterians are mostly Kikuyus, so they use the family friendly bibles approved by mummy, without mention of foreskins, eye gouging and other brutal aspects of this religion.

The important thing is that we have the savior as our leader, all others (cults, sects and religions) do not.
