@Luther12 &@meria mata.
i talked to your guy(the techinichian) and he got me so confused. he told me if i wanted to watch both epl and champions league i would have to get two 6ft dishes. then if i wanted cnn and aljazeera i would have to add a 90cm dish. how true is this?
alafu update ni kuwa hall iliketa balaa so i didnt instalk
The only reason for more than one dish is if u need more than one sat and they’re so far apart that they can’t be combined on one dish. The alternative would be to motorize the dish using a H-H motor which your decoder can comfortably drive at the touch of a button.
To the best of my knowledge, you’ll get EPL at 38°E and CNN at 7°W. Being not much of a soccer fan, I have no idea where you’ll catch up with Champions League action, I’ll leave it to @Meria Mata to confirm.
thanks.
my roof itakaa a mini longonot!
multi lnb
from 54 to 78 e
hizo zote ni zetu
does multi lnb mean more dishes?
No. It means more than one LNB on the same dish, e.g:

i am getting knowledgeable just by staying near the doctor.
so it is this simple?
The pic makes it appear simple but for the installer, it is by no means a simple feat.
can the rumuruti guy do it?
techs are good at whatever they do just like surgeons and scapels
If he has passed through our FTA school, I’m sure he’s competent enough. As I’ve always said though, the satellites need to be close together to achieve such a set-up. Don’t expect for instance to combine 38E and 7W.
wont mind buying ten dishes if that is what it will take to watch what i wish
Hehehe…10? Anza na moja and build on it polepole. That’s how I began. Once you have the first one, it sort of spurs some curiosity in you such that utakuwa unajiuliza ‘na nikisogesha hivi kidogo nitapata nini’ hehehe…and before you know it, pap! Another dish.
Wow! I like the set up,what’s the dish size and location. 904&902 have been playing tricks on me. I would also be happy to shoot down 91.5.my apparatus is an 8ft solid.
Kudos to the one who didi that one.
Nss12 @ the moment is your best pal.you can get CNN @ 68.@57 you have fox news, BBC,skynews/sport,prime telly, via and many more .it airs ESPN feeds some times.:):)
It’s an old pic shared from way back in the days of rdi, hata sikumbuki ni nani alinitumia. Because of the size of the normal C-band LNB, I highly doubt it’s possible to combine 902 and 904 on the same dish. You’ll have to settle for one or the other and make it your prime/focal LNB. From experience, Supermax-777 LNB works best for cirularly-polarized (R & L) signals. 91.5 demands that you have the dish raised high up on a platform, often on a surface about the level of a ground-floor balcony/roof coz of its far location in the horizon especially in our hilly topography.
I have already tried raising it about a ft and on 4th floor to no avail. Only getting untv and some other funny tvs
Using what LNB?
Supermax 777 and esd 21 alternatively
As stated earkier, the 777 seems to perform well in R & L but dismally in V & H. Ditch it. Go for ESCDT-700 Dual.
Noted will revamp my arsenal in due time. Asande sana
