Just In: The Tanzania Airports Authority (TAA) has confirmed that flight operations at Msalato International Airport in Dodoma will officially begin June 2025.
That’s right — the capital is now airborne.
While others are busy changing party logos and forming “alliances of the month,”
Tanzania is building infrastructure that will serve generations.
Siasa safi. Kazi safi. Ndege safi. 
Msalato is not just any airport.
It’s a modern international gateway designed to:
- Ease congestion at Julius Nyerere Int’l (Dar)
- Serve government, business, and tourism in Dodoma
- Position Tanzania as a serious regional hub
The airport includes:
- A 3.6 km runway
- A state-of-the-art passenger terminal
- Cargo and VIP facilities
- Designed for up to 1.5 million passengers per year
All in Dodoma — the heart of government and national planning.
President Samia Suluhu Hassan has made it clear:
“Tanzania is not in the business of making noise. We build.”
The capital isn’t just political now — it’s economic and connected globally.
