Sweden’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs has lifted its previous advice against non-essential travel to Tanzania, citing improved security conditions across the country.
The updated notice marks a positive development for tourism and bilateral relations between the two nations. It reflects growing international confidence in Tanzania’s stability and safety for visitors.
However, the advisory remains in effect for Mtwara Region, located in the country’s southeast. Swedish citizens are advised to exercise caution and stay informed when traveling in or near that area.
