Microsoft account locked out. Jana nikatumia supplier email inquiring about a few things, supplier akajibu leo but email goes to trash/spam. I didn’t think much of it na nikaijibu and clicked a link leading to somewhere.
NB I got a mailer demon email that my reply hasn’t been sent. Na ghafla bin vu I was locked out of my account. Sema kutetemeka meka meka and trying to figure out how to reach Microsoft chat support.

It isn’t password, it’s my account has been locked. The Customer service agent says to give it 24hrs as a ‘cool down’ period

No. I think it’s a phishing attack. The email from the supplier that went to spam, the failure to deliver a reply and clicking on a link. That’s the sequence of events that led it to being locked
