we have another chance to continue our superb start of the season as we face the saint who are still trying to gel with their new coach at hand…all we need is a strong squad fullof cohesion and unity to break down the saints
Subs: Romero, Smalling, Darmian, Carrick, Fellaini, Rashford, Lingard
mata should be a sure start the spaniard picks up the perfect positions and holds the ball for just long enough to pull defenders out of position, working in close conjunction with both Henrikh Mkhitaryan and valencia, before unleashing one of the latter pair with an inch-perfect threaded pass.hes roaming, crafty presence feels necessary if we are to avoid becoming too predictable at Saint Mary’s.

this will be a tough game. A tight game I reckon and we need to take our chances and cut out individual errors that cost us the game at Stoke. Still feel there’s a brain fart during the game by one of our defenders. They’ve been struggling for goals but every team raises their game against us so that means nothing. This is our toughest game since the International break and the next. Hoping for a professional performance from the lads. #ggmu #thankyouchelseaformatic
Southampton are tough to play at their home however I trust the squad to deliver. This is the start of our 6 straight away games and I expect we do well to challenge for trophies.
The state of play is the problem. The stupid mistakes. The long balls the poor decision making. Those is clearly self inflicted and not the saints playing well.
