Were you born stupid or you practice daily? The USAID dollar story is a very convenient one for Kenyan politicians who would be happy to have as many people as possible believing that. Shida kubwa ya Kenya is that the govt has been actively crowding out the private sector while at the same time mopping up liquidity from the public using the Treasury.

About Ksh 50 billion annually that the government will either have to appropriate from elsewhere, or abandon those projects entirely, like free ARVs.
