No external flash so thats poor shots in low light, though amazing high resolution on dots per pixel in light.
It’s counterpart, the HX400V has wifi and nfc -sharing pics is easy wirelessly to phones and laptops
download and install cool features,GPS,external mic jack saa zile unataka ma sound effects 3D,swivel screen but 50 ndorras extra.you will definately enjoy the carl zeiss lense.I’d go for the 400,less hussle

Cost?
I’ve history of Sony Cameras so I think I can say something here.
Double your budget and buy a new NEX body or keep your budget and get a used body on ebay/amazon.
Something like NEX-5N/ 5T.
They might be several years old but they are several orders of magnitude better than this style of camera.
They are functionally better and due to the APS-C size sensor you have pro level image quality.
Unless you go to the national park 5 days a week usione ZOOM kama advantage.

optical zoom is king.
But how much do you need it ?
Depends on type of photography. zooming to top of buildings, cars, mats, tall structures, distant geography. taking pics when it doesnt seem obvious to the subject. camera bila zoom poa ni kama cybershot tu ya picha za facebook.
Sony cameras are not very well built. so much plastic. knobs and switched tend to break. Go for the Nikons and canons that the professionals use.
