Too Ferry 2 Furious
Commuters watched in facination today as two ferries at the Likoni channel raced each other from the Likoni side to the Island dock.
The winner beat the other one by a full 6 minutes but ended up stuck on the concrete ramp because of its high speed approach. Public in the winning ferry cheered and celebrated by drinking coconut water and eating mohogo. Ferry officials have borrowed a few car Jacks from motorists to try and lift the ferry to push it back into the water. A local drug smuggler has volunteered to send his yacht to help pull it back in water if the Jacks fail. The County is expected to flag off the official Ferry Rally season around Christmas time so please expect delays and travel disruption.
