Same for most tribes in Kenya but obviously, the rest of us were whitewashed without resistance so we look at arbitrary numbers, like the white man said, to tell us when to marry and when a person becomes an adult.
Sure, we’re better off letting teenagers be teenagers, but it’s not because we’re better cultures, it’s because we couldn’t stick to our cultures.
