For those who have ever passed near skate park on weekends, you have most likely been astonished by the hundreds of youths sitting kwa mawe moto on a very hot sunday afternoon…personallly kuna siku nilipita hapo nikashangaa kuna nini inaendelea hapo…i thght maybe kuna kaconcert ama an event that was about to start
i came to learn later that skate park is where most teenagers used to meet up for hook ups but as from last year, it has been taken up by marauding gangs from estates such as huruma, gethu, ungem…
As a norm, those guys huwa wanaiba then meet up at skate park or start off at skate park before they start stealing within town. These gangs are usually made up of both men and women and the most suprising thing is that, wako na bunduki.
The police are well aware of this and have started ambushing the gangs while in plain clothes and also carrying out raids at skate park
