Soon after Uhuru invited Thabane to address the media, Thabane, who was standing to his left, realised he did not have a written speech. He gazed straight into his delegation asking for his speech.
“Where is my paper? It is not there? he could be heard asking before turning to Uhuru saying, "I do not have a paper.”
The remark that was followed by a burst of brief laughter. Thabane did not speak for more than five minutes.
