Since when did jikos become this complicated

This jiko here, this jiko right here is connected to the internet!!! It sends data that you are running low on special makaa to the owners for them to send over a new batch. It captures data that you’re cooking and sends data on carbon nonsense to a block chain that you’ve eliminated so many kgs of carbon by cooking Ngimanene na matharo with it. It’ll get to a point when you’re unable to pay wataizima remotely.

2ndly, why the fuack do you want an iot jiko??? Why? Why? Why? Isn’t it just another layer of complexity umeleta that has absolutely nothing to do with cooking??? Halafu mumeona what happens to daily use jiko for 1 year vile imechomeka na kuchapa? How will the electronics of this fare? Nani anaweka bandos kwa jiko? Kuna upussy mingi sana around this fake global warming nonsense. Hata hii elnino ni fake.

3rdly kama ingekuwa nyeuthi who has come with this, angepewa mapesa na wazungu ama watasema this is nonsense

The middo class and the wannabe uppity will buy it like their lives depend on it. That’s the market segment.

Packaging is everything.

Hehehe "its eco friendly "

Realistically, do people at the BOP which they’re targetting care? Let’s be practical even as we aim for ideals. Sasa unapata notification ati bag ya makaa inaisha and we’re bringing it for you

I’m really trying to wrap my head around how this can be organically bought by consumers. I buy the jiko at over $100, set it up to connect to data or WiFi, feedstock comes from the company… all this for a jiko? Jiko?

Yes, a jiko that can cook @Ngimanene-Na-matharo

This is the most sustainable and environmentally friendly way to cook because you plant trees on your shamba then harvest them for firewood. The trees take in carbon dioxide to photosynthesize and grow and release it when you burn the wood, and the cycle continues meaning you are net zero, climate smart.

I know a guy who will shed that amount to buy it just because he can “configure it and monitor via Wi-Fi” and keep himself “updated about its progress and perfomance”. Watu wako na fetishes za ajab sana.

Wanafaa kufanya ‘cook-off’ ya githeri kati ya hii jiko na zile og tuone ni gani noma.

A smokeless brick rocket stove is easy and fast to build …

Funny thing is they’ve raised almost $1M in funding!!! I’m still struggling to understand how can you make a jiko that complicated. Anyway, packaging and story telling is everything to get mzungu money
