As long as people were cured/treated, figures were not inflated, and systems were working as intended, this is good step.

The Health facilities have ‘claimed’, your title on the other hand says ‘SHIF has paid’… those two are different!

Claim and paid are two different things.
Nhif owes billions in claims. Yet to be paid btw.
They should have transitioned gradually and reformed nhif including paying outstanding verified debts to hospitals.
Sasa naskia the new algorithm to decide what the rest of people pay is bringing problems. Might result to fixed amount.
