Wadau. I am looking at building a 2200 square foot house for paros in Gichagi. Four bedrooms single level all stone. I got the following figures from a contactor. Do these items look reasonable?

Do you have the time to go to the suppliers (H/W) and buy the materials yourself ?

That alone could cut the materials cost price by 30 up to 50% because there is no way any sane .ke contractor is going to give you an un-inflated quote.

Don’t be suprised if there is materials in there for his other projects.

I might consider buying the materials in Nairobi and ferrying them by lorry. Anything 100 km past Nairobi and the prices get inflated by 15 percent
