This shouldn’t surprise you because Jewish religious leaders were our LORD’s greatest enemies when He was on earth.
Once satan the disrupter caught wind that Jesus would come from the Jewish lineage, he created the Talmudic/Kaballah offshoot religion from Mosaic Judaism so that antisemites could paint a broad brush against all Jews to hurt them.
Make no mistake about it, God has not replaced Israel with the Gentile Church. The Church began as a Jewish institution. It was founded in Judea by Jews who were followers of a Jewish Messiah, and all its founding documents were written by Jews.

The most dangerous thing for man is to consume religion without question. All religion is created by people, and is a response to the thirst for progress, justice and a defence against persecution. It’s not surprising then that all known religions address human conflict, and carry a certain bitterness and vengefulness against the influence of a powerful spiritual enemy who manifests himself in the physical existence of people the writers of that religion fear or hate.
It’s worth remembering that religion also lays a claim to its adherents being more worthy of God’s favour than those who don’t belong to it, so many are the statements intetionally woven into it for the purpose of justifying the economic dispossession of others alien to the faith. It’s a tool meant to deceive the clueless. This is true of every foreign religion that comes to Africa, because it is the paradise which holds all the resources of the earth.

Religions , Sects and Creeds are man made.
They are often mixed up with culture , racial and community Interests and biases. -
SPIRITUALITY reflects the will of the Supreme Creator.
This is what we should all aspire for.
It is simply amazing what is said and done in GOD’s name.
Example:
The famous myth that individuals who kill innocents will enter “Paradise” and be rewarded with 72 Virgins with "desirable Front Passages" …
Of what use are Virgins in a Spiritual realm …???

I have lost faith on religion. Siku hizi I tend to lean towards philosophy. If you want to end this religion madness replace it with work of philosophy and art.
I have ordered Friedrich Nietzsche books. Next I will order Aristotle, Immanuel kamt, Arthur shopenhauer.

@rexxsimba and @Lord_Wanaruona , the tragedy we are faced with is that there is a vast majority of humans who find thinking quite challenging, so they prefer to live largely without it. These are the willing victims of manic religious dogma, and woe to the earth when such characters are given power by the other unthinking multitude. We have to ask ourselves how humanity in general is improved, or how the spirit is glorified by the destruction of other people’s lives, just because a religious text sanctions it. For example, if someone thinks it’s right to molest a child of 3, whose child should it be, and what gives him the moral right? If a person is to be robbed or killed because he/she is a gentile or a black person, what gives the murderer that right? Every human being deserves to live and enjoy being alive, and this right is given not by religion or governments, but by Nature.
For this reason we must always be alive to the madness the interpretation of religion can bring, and it’s also why we must engage our minds and separate religion from state authority, so we can have a reasoned system of justice on earth.
