Where I went to school group photos were a must. The first one was when you are officially welcomed by the Dean…and that first interaction was a must. Any university that doesn’t encourage atleast a week of orientation should be viewed very suspiciously…You attend the first week where you get most learning materials, get introductory or foundational face to face lectures, meet colleagues and lecturers after which you then go back to start distance learning.

Degree matters aside, I don’t think anybody that was not diligent enough to complete his his studies at UoN should be a governor. That alone is evidence cutting short cuts. His behaviour also show he is not mature to lead anything. If I were in Nairobi, I can’t vote for him. However, his TEAM university case should be treated like other similar cases. Institutions should be predictable for the sake of stability
