Safaricom is set to launch a new payment method via Mpesa that will enable its customers to use a QR code to reduce process risk.

In a statement, the leading telco said the commodity will enable a seamless experience which is secure and hustle free.

“No hustle of keying in details, no risk of paying to the wrong number,” the statement read.

The network further added that it has partnered with payment service providers, banks, and card schemes, among others to bring '‘ScanUlipe’

It will flop just like one tap. Mpesa thrives because of it’s toolkit feature, and that is what even tech savy people trust to work security wise

I already use it to pay pale Quickmart. No need keying in till numbers.

They should also enable it for MPESA agents and incorporate the scan option on their app
