The many gains people fought for over the years. This can be evidenced by the fact of the many clauses the courts keep expunging from laws pushed by the executive and parliament. They are likely to create room for their bad manners in the constitution so that parliament can enact anything they wish no matter how detrimental it may be.
Then their is always that temptation in African politicians to extend their stay in power or create positions for themselves from where they can always control the nation even if not in power.
