REFURBISHED PHONES

Just an enquiry, are refurbished phones good and is there a way of knowing its a genuine refurb?

NO!

Smartphones have gotten so powerful yet so affordable, so why the hell would you go for a sub-par device?

10-20k gets you a good android device already…

I already have a samsung A6+ 2018 but haijaninice…na sina 90k za kubuy S9 mpya…How about that?

As long as an electronic has been used by someone before…its as good as being worthless

It seems your mind is set. Experience is the best teacher. If you don’t have the money to buy the gadget you want then buy the one you can afford. Any phone/device that has been opened by a fundi whether that fundi is the manufacturer or not wachana kapsaa.

Thanks i take your word.Let me stay with the one i have.

Old is gold but not in technology!!

A phone being genuine ain’t a big issue, it could be genuine but the hardware is worn out still. Check the stickers at the back, peel of the first one just to be certain, scan the QR code given at the back too online. Unless the refurb phone is really worth it, go for new piece bro.#mytwocents.

“Keep left unless overtaking”

Lanes man, lanes or just save some money and spoil yourself baadae…

Thanks Nick.

Manufacturer refurbished only, if you wanna go down that path.

Why go for a soon to be obsolete mtush with depreciated parts and problems you’ll only discover with time? Don’t be mean to yourself.

The pace at which the smartphone industry is churning out new phones and innovations is break neck, meaning that phone prices are plummeting, as current phones become obsolete faster.

Also, the gap between the flagship phones and the midranges,in terms of specs and features, has been narrowing by the day! This is why you’re now seeing the likes of Apple reporting profit warnings because it’s becoming more and more difficult to convince buyers to fork out $700-1000+ on a device yet they can now get a similar phone for as low as $300…

For less than 20k, you can get the Redmi Note 7, the Note 7 pro version is available for between 25-30k and the Pocophone F1 aka the Flagship killer is available for about 30-35k. Also learn how to import things by yourself as a local dealer tends to mark up by about 10k, Jumia included.

I don’t see any need of getting a refurb phoñe, just save money and grt yourself s new and genuine android, I call it, the legit machine,
Thank me later

Refurbished phones are superb especially if u get a grade A Refurb from Jumia…I personally bought a Refurb grade A HTC from Jumia and was 100% satisfied. …if u gonna get a refurb, get it at jumia (don’t buy from kilimall) plus u get a good deal. …right now s9 mpya ni 70k na refurb 45k…this is a good deal if u ask me…plus refurb uwa zinago through thorough tests to make sure they are fully functional

How much are they paying you to promote them?

Mburoti maguta maguta

Am giving my personal experience it ain’t a promotion

3 years later are refurbished flagships good for long term use? I experimented with Samsung galaxy s4 in 2019. It worked well for a year. By 2020 December it became very slow and was overheating. Refurbs have shorter lifespans. The brand new redmi note 7 I bought in 2019 still works
