Most immigrants were from Somalia (44 percent), Uganda (30 percent), and South Sudan (13 percent), with other origins including the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Burundi. Forty-seven percent of these migrants were registered refugees.
We all know our country, that 2% is most likely a double or to be safe a triple thus 6%.
IMO claim that 47% were registered refugees is not convincing, lets cut the percent by double or triple thus 47/3==15.7% so around 16% of refugees are registered.
This is not an attack on Kenyan somalis or law biding refugees,but it’s an attack o the other problematic category which in my opinion:
is primitive considering education collapsed in somalia in 1992.
doesn’t understand civility in a democratic society since democratic elections were last held in somalia in 1969.
doesn’t understand torance since somalia’s provisional federal constitution (PFC) provides for the right of individuals to practice their religion, makes Islam the state religion, prohibits the propagation of any religion other than Islam, and stipulates all laws must comply with the general principles of sharia. Somaliland’s constitution declares Islam its official religion, prohibits Muslims from converting to another religion, bars the propagation of any religion other than Islam, and requires all laws to comply with the general principles of sharia.
so they find it hard to live in kenya,which they all run to resorting to violent or polarizing tendencies.

Law is quite clear, anyone who comes to kenya can apply to be a refugee. Anyone born in kenya is a kenyan citizen. If they live in kenya more than 7 years, and are officially registered as refugees, they are automatically kenyans
